Ultrasonic Machine Repair

  • Parts Orientation - Parts are to be ideally placed downwards for the optimum ultrasonic
cleaning effects. If parts have hidden crevices, it is important to place the part facing the
ultrasonic transducers. Direct overlapping of parts should be avoided.

  • Cleaning Solution - Getting the proper and appropriate cleaning solution is important in
getting the optimum cleaning. Some Cleaning solutions may not work as well as others
due to the properties of the solution. Therefore, our company will recommend clients on
the best and most suitable cleaning solution for the different parts like Stainless Steel,
Aluminum, Copper, Jewellery, watch parts etc.

  • Optimum Operating Temperature - Operating temperature should be around the
region of 40-60°C for most cleaning liquid solution. If the solution is allowed to boil, this
will impede the formation of cavitations bubbles which will lead to poor cleaning performance.

  • Filtration - Filtration of the cleaning solution would be ideal especially when there is high usage. The standard units do not have an overflow for filtration except from the TIH 25 to TIH160 and
our customized cleaning systems. Filtration extends the lifetime of the cleaning solution, so
that the solution may not replaced as frequently. It will also prevent released particles from scratching the bottom of the tank, prolonging the lifetime of unit. The dirty particles released
from the cleaned parts will not re-attach back and soil the parts.

  • Dry Running of Ultrasonic units - Ultrasonic units must never be allowed to be operated
without any cleaning solution inside the tank. By doing so, it may result in permanent
degraded performance or even cause irreparable mechanical damage to the tank and
    transducer assembly.
